This historic river port dates from the 1860s and is closely associated with the development of the river trade along the Murray. Most of the old town is constructed along the steep banks of the western side. Today Mannum is a popular tourist destination and home port for the paddlesteamer Murray Princess. A walk around the town will delight the lover of old buildings.
