Crystal Brook - Mid North Region, South Australia.
Crystal Brook is another small farmers' town, founded in 1874. Explorer Edward John Eyre named the creek Crystal Brook. Today the brook's headwaters have been damned to form Beetaloo reservoir. There are some fine old buildings in the centre of the town, including a red-brick two-storey Georgian structure of unknown purpose.
